QuickBooks Online Integration Application

J5 Rescue Supply LLC ("J5 Rescue," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal and business data. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our QuickBooks Online Integration application ("Application").
1. Information We Collect
When you authorize and use the Application, we access the following information from your QuickBooks Online account through Intuit's secure OAuth 2.0 API:
- Company Information: Company name, legal name, business address.
- Customer Data: Customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, billing and shipping addresses.
- Product/Item Data: Product names, descriptions, SKUs, pricing information.
- Invoice Data: Invoice numbers, line items, amounts, dates, due dates, payment status.
- Payment Data: Payment amounts, dates, and references to associated invoices.
We also collect OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens necessary to maintain the authorized connection. These tokens are stored securely in our Odoo ERP system.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected exclusively for synchronizing data between our Odoo ERP system and your QuickBooks Online account, maintaining accurate links between corresponding records, and logging synchronization activity for troubleshooting and audit purposes. We do not use your QuickBooks data for marketing, advertising, analytics, or profiling.
3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your QuickBooks Online data with any third parties. Your data is accessed and stored solely within our secured Odoo ERP environment. We may disclose your information only when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or with your explicit written consent.
4. Data Storage and Security
- OAuth 2.0 tokens stored in encrypted database fields with restricted access
- All API communication over HTTPS/TLS encrypted connections
- Role-based access control via Odoo's security framework
- Regular encrypted backups of all system data
- SSL/TLS certificates for all web-facing endpoints
5. Data Retention
We retain synchronized data for as long as the integration is active and as required for business record-keeping. When you disconnect the Application, we cease accessing your QuickBooks data. You may request deletion of previously synchronized data by contacting us.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You may request information about synchronized data, revoke access at any time through QuickBooks Online settings (Apps → Manage Apps), request deletion by emailing info@j5rescue.com, or correct inaccurate data in either system.
7. Intuit Data Use Compliance
Our use of information received from Intuit APIs adheres to Intuit's developer terms of service, including their data use and security requirements.
8. Children's Privacy
The Application is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with a revised date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
